Bye Bye Winter

I said I was going to keep working on this project until it was done but I just can't do it.

I got two more blocks done this weekend but I'm out of gas. All that blue. All those snowflakes. I'm over it.

I'm packing it up until next winter when I'll be glad to see it. I really do love this pattern.

I know we've still got a few more days of winter left but I dug out the spring project I was working on last year. It's time.

  2. Those snowflakes are so pretty, but I can see why you'd want to move onto spring!

  3. Warm today...but cold again this weekend. I think we're done with the snow though. I hope....

  4. Maybe you'll want to work on the cool colors in the middle of a summer heat wave.

  5. Is winter really over? Oh, I hope so. We have so, so, so much snow on the ground. But, it is supposed to be in the 50s next week for the first time since last October. That will be amazing and surely melt some of the snow.
    Blessings, Betsy

  6. Our weather has me so confused, I ordered a fall cross stitch pattern today. Today & tomorrow are supposed to be almost summerish with temps in the 70's but Monday winter returns and it plummets back down below freezing. Can't blame you for being over your snowflakes at the moment. Just think how much you'll love finishing that beautiful quilt next winter.

  7. Those blocks are just beautiful. I would probably enjoy working with those fabrics during our hot and humid summer days. What is visible of the spring project certainly does scream spring. It is 70 degrees here today though the temps will be back in the 50s for the weekend. While winter is not over for us, the worst of it is over. Hope you get lots of sunshine.
