How did I figure it out? The soap told me. When I went to test the last few batches they were a bit too soft. Hmmm.....A check of the calendar confirmed what I suspected. Tomorrow is not the 31st. Duh.
I've been working like crazy all week getting things ready for the giveaway thinking the month was running out. That's what happens when you retire. You have no idea what day it is anymore. That's not always a bad thing unless you're in the middle of wrapping soap.
I promise it will be worth the wait. These new Brambleberry fragrances are heavenly.
They look beautiful and I LOVE the card! I’m the same way with dates since I quit working. I jokingly told Dennis that I better not ever have to go into hospital, because they always ask you details and questions like that to make sure you’re alert. I would fail every time.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Betsy
We are your patient, adoring soap community--we will wait! (I always get messed up on the date, too!)
ReplyDeleteWithout the calendar and reminders on my phone, I'd be lost.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the soap's wrapper! It's so cute and understated. And, I'm with Betsy on the hospital thing. I never know what the day or date is. Half the time I get the year wrong when writing it.
ReplyDeleteI've been off all week concerning what day it is - My daughter shared that she thought it was Wednesday (it was Thursday) - I said nothing, because I had been thinking that it was Saturday all day - - Those bunnies are too adorable!!
ReplyDelete:) I often forget what day of the week it is!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty wrapping on the soap! The bunnies are just adorable. I fit into the category of understanding completely how you could be mistaken about the date.
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing last week - was a whole week ahead! I was so glad I was wrong because it meant I could breathe easier on the work-front.
ReplyDeleteYour soap is all so lovely!
