A Belated TNT

I was very excited about joining Tiny Needle Tuesday but I forgot. Nothing gets me going like a deadline so I was looking forward to the push I needed to get things done so I could show something off. I have been using my tiny needles. I always do somewhere or other. I've almost got those flowers done on the Sheep Virtues. When I do February will be history.

I also used my very tiny needles on Daddio's pieced 9 patch project.  I got the multi-colored border done on the last corner.

I still have more color blocks to  put on the edges.

I had to the good sense to label them the last time I laid the whole thing out. It's a pain to lay it all out to figure out what color should go where.

No tiny needles for Dear Jane yet. I laid out the pieces and said "no way". I am going to modify this one. Those sharp angled pieces on the ends are history.

Finally, I am challenging myself to get out my tiny needles to get this binding sewn down before next Tuesday. It's been sitting here waiting patiently forever and I'm tired of moving it around whenever I need its space. The only problem is that I usually do this kind of stuff when The Mister is glued to the TV watching football and THERE IS NO MORE FOOTBALL. Oy.

  3. Nice to have you joining in! All of your projects are just so pretty. I think, though, that Dear Jane would drive me batty or beyond....

  4. ❤️ all of your projects, especially the pieced nine-patch. I seldom work with solids, but I may need to reconsider.

  7. Wonderful projects! And you are close to having the quilt complete. With the awesome weather we have been having (65-70 degrees, no humidity), I have been spending every minute possible outside. It won't last much longer and then I will spend quality time with my sewing machine.

  10. Love your stitching. I need to get mine out, too, and follow your lead on a long avoided binding as well.

  11. Your cross stitch looks so good. I love all things sheepy, but it really makes me miss cross-stitching. You know I love seeing your systems for keeping your crafts efficient and the quilting / piecing labels are great. Um, there's a lot of pieces in that Dear Jane thing. I scare!!
