Hot and Cold

One day I can't get enough of knitting and the next day it's....meh. We've had some nice rainy days which used to be knitting heaven for me but now I can't seem to settle down when it rains to get it started.

I really like getting up early and doing the complicated stuff while everyone is asleep but the cats are waking up with the sun and wrecking havoc. I have to hit the ground running. I barely get time for a cup of coffee since the time changed.

This is getting the most attention but it doesn't look like it. It's like a million stitches all around that yoke so it's going very slowly. My brain starts screaming after just a single row. I need to start a new series so I can plant myself in one place and get it done.

  1. I feel the same about Dennis’s sweater. I worked on it like gangbusters over the weekend but haven’t touched it for days. I don’t like working on it. I just don’t and I can’t say why except that it makes my hands hurt.
I hope you get some knitting mojo back soon.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  2. I try to play with yarn on the weekends, there is no time during the week anymore. Today I am going to an art show, it is beautiful out, 50 degrees and sunny. Yay, Fall!

  5. My knitting mojo left when I moved. I'm sure it's tucked away somewhere, but right now I'm not knitting much of anything.

The lining in the mittens will add a lot of warmth.

  6. I can relate to not finding the time. Those mittens are gorgeous, beautifully done.
