Spoke Too Soon

Uh, oh. We thought we escaped the wind storm without any damage.

That's a nice little hole we now have in the siding. Someone's going to have to climb up there and fix it and it's not going to be me. I don't do heights.

While I was out holding the ladder so The Mister could take a better look at the hole I found these. My sweet little daffodils make me happy every year when they pop up in the woods. I have no idea how they got there but I'm glad they did.

  1. Oh no! I’m so sorry. You have certainly had a bunch of “stuff” to deal with. I hoe it’s not too hard to fix. Your daffodils are sweet and cheerful. I hope they help.

  2. Oh dear. Tell the Mister to be safe. Our daffodils are budded and we are expecting 8" of snow tomorrow...my son a half hour north is expecting 12" or more! And winds...again...

  4. Dang! It looks like two pieces of siding are involved too. Stupid wind! Tell the Mister to be careful on that ladder....it looks pretty high up there.

  6. Oh dang that storm and the siding issue. Your baby daffodils are so cute.!!! It is snowing here. Im ignoring it. Except that i asked some girls at the barn to take some snowy horse photos and they came out great. So If we do another calendar next fall, for 2019, we now have some wintery pretty shots.

  8. Oh, bugger! That job does NOT look like fun.

The daffs are so cute though. That makes up for it a little bit.
