Wait a Minute

We have a saying here in Maryland. "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute". That was never truer than yesterday. The Mister and I went out for a walk with Pup during a sunny break from all the rain in the afternoon. On the way back in I spied this pansy in bloom. Squeee.....

We headed down to the craft room for about an hour to make a birthday card for his sister and when we emerged the world was a winter wonderland. No snow was expected here but it showed up anyway. It was better than the rain we were expecting. Much better.

  1. I would love to share our snow with you. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. In fact, feel free to take it all! I’ve had to snow blow twice since Wednesday. Almost 16 inches and counting and it’s supposed to be 3F tonight! So much for the Spokane marmot and his shadow on Groundhogs Day.
    Blessings,

  2. Oh boy. We are expected to have less frigid temps and possible thunderstorms tonight/tomorrow. Mostly it is very gray here and It IS getting to me. I hate to admit it. Knitting helps! Fair isle makes me think about what I'm doing and I can see how the technique was created to keep things interesting! Happy Monday

  6. The weather has been nuts --- snow on Saturday and 70 tomorrow. LOL Right now it is raining a bit here and is getting foggy. The woods look very pretty in fog.

  7. I'm waiting for sunny and dry. We had it for a couple days but it's been back to gloom and doom again. So ready for nice weather!
