No new laptop as yet but my February card kit showed up last week. I really was anxious to get this one because it is full of goodies.
The theme is crafting and it's got everything from watercolors to sequins in it. I can't wait for the online tutorials to begin on YouTube so I can follow along with those who know what they are doing.
I played with the kit a bit using the textured embossing folders and came up with this. It's nothing to brag about but I had a good time cutting and inking up all the little bumps. I was getting tired of Valentines. I had 18 people participate in the giveaway so I made 18 Valentines last week. That's a lot of Valentines.
Speaking of Valentines, I'm not quite done. I'm working on these for the Daughter and the Grands.
I also have these new vine dies to play with. They are intended for art jounaling, if I ever get to it. There's always something else I should be doing but I have no complaints. I like to keep busy.
Finally, even though I am knee deep (and loving it) in Dear Jane, I want to make a mini quilt to match the February runner Daddio made for me ages ago. In my last fabric shipment I added a couple of red charm packs for some Valentine hexies. Now I have to go dig out the runner so I can figure out how to get them to coordinate. Happy February!
The cards you made are wonderful and look like they would be fun to create.
