Soaper Bowl Sunday

Remember us? These three soaps gave me a fit on the day I made them. I just knew they would be ugly when I cut them because I was pretty sure I had mucked up the pour. Think cake batter in three or four colors. You want those colors to mingle, not mix.

Oatmeal, Milk and Honey was not so terrible. It could be worse.

This one was the one that worried me the most. I got impatient and poured the batter in the mold when it was still pretty thin. I think it turned out awesome. I couldn't reproduce those awesome swirls if I tried. It's Coconut Water and Pineapple and it makes you want a pina colada

I was pretty sure I went overboard with the colors with this one and I certainly did but it's not horrific. I had told myself that I wanted some pretty pastels this time around and I didn't get it but I can live with what I got. Anything called Strawberry Thyme Lemonade gets what it deserves.

As for the big game, I will be feasting on veggie chili...

...and The Mister is going to be having steamed shrimp and lobster tails.

Go Eagles!!!!!

AND...thanks for propping me up again yesterday. I seem to be a walking pity party these days. Hopefully the fates are done with me for a while. Fingers crossed...

  1. That's what friends are for, to prop! That soap looks amazing. Dennis flies off to Texas tomorrow right after church so I definitely will NOT be watching the Super Bowl. :-)

  3. ❤️ the colors and designs of the soap.

I'm not a sports fan and won't be watching the game, but you've prompted me to gather the fixings and to make a pot of chili.

  4. It's definately a "chili for supper" day here today too. Cold and raining. The soaps look great to me. I just got mine from the giveaway the other day and I am loving them. That little heart shaped lotion bar is so pretty too not to mention your card making talents. Your cards are wonderful!
