Back In Business

The new Chromebook is here but it's going to take me awhile to get used to it. It's the same but it's not. I know it's weird but you get used to something and then it changes and it feels terrible. I know I'm being a big crybaby but when something is so critical to every part of everything you do, little things matter.
Now I get to go get caught up on all the things you all have been doing while I've been living offline......

  1. I know EXACTLY what you mean. It took hours to get my new computer set up the way I like it and that was after HOURS of it updating itself. Have fun with your new Chromebook!

  2. I know exactly what you mean. Just when a person gets comfortable with stuff it konks and you have to start all over. Very frustrating. I wish they could make computers that last longer.

  3. Yes, I understand completely: I prefer dealing with the familiar.

    Enjoy!

  4. I think all of us who use computers understand how you feel. I would love to get a chromebook when we retire and give up the clunky desktop for good. As it is, I use the Ipad for most everything.

  5. woo-hoo!! Congrats on getting your computer set up. I don't think I use my laptop that much, but apparently I do more than I realize because when it is not working properly, boy do I get grumpy!! Agree with Well-Fed Wheel that computers should not need to be replaced so often...

  6. New computers are so hard to get used to. I don't have a laptop but if I did that is the one I would get. Good luck!

  10. I'm a computer tech and, even I, can feel your pain. I can work on other's without a care but when it comes to my own I dread the set up. Soon enough you'll have it just the way you like it :)
