Racing the Clock

Errand day is always a good knitting day.

We pack up the dogs and take turns running in for whatever is on our lists. Knitting with two dogs on my lap is not fun but sometimes the only time I get.

I really wanted the Grand knits done by Thanksgiving but I don't think it's going to happen. The hats, maybe.

The socks, I don't think so. I've got a foot and an whole other sock to do for Big Grand so that's not happening. They'll be done by Christmas for sure which is fine because around here no one needs warm snow boot socks until at least January anyhow.

  1. Love all the pretty blues in this yarn and that little doggie carrier is pretty cool not to mention the cute little doggie face in it. :-)

  2. Beautiful hats and socks. I love those yarn colors. I’m sure they’ll be happy with them whenever you get them finished.
    Blessings always, Betsy

  3. What pretty-er, handsome socks/hats for the boys!!! They will appreciate them when they can wear them at Christmas! Looks like a nice way to wait in the car-I couldn't imagine bearing the long waits for my DH without my knitting! (He is a SLOWWWWWWW shopper!)

  4. Those colors are really wonderful! Good for you for realizing that rushing through a project isn't really a good idea. Last year I did that and really wasn't a very happy camper!

  7. You are doing better than me in the project department. I have half of a shawl to go and I might make a monster pillow, the jury is still out on that one.

  9. I love the colors in the socks and hats! Everything looks great! I don't know how you can knit w/2 dogs on your lap, I can barely manage on a train with a person next to me and a purse on my lap!
