I have a confession. I HATED putting the faces on these Kitty Poufs.
I tried so many times to get them symmetrical I lost count. I gave up. They have wonky kitty character and I'm leaving it at that.
Now I am fighting with the ears and the top closure. I can't get mine to look right to save my life. This sort of fiddly stuff is not for me. Daughter asked for them so I soldiered on. I can't wait to get them done and gone. Meow....
Looks like you are pretty CLOSE to being done and DONE is so much better than perfect.ReplyDelete
Awe....you done good though.....they're adorable!ReplyDelete
I think perhaps you are being too hard on yourself. I LOVE them. I have to agree that faces and such, for the teddy mother bear project, were the part I felt tense about and didn't like . I prefer to knit and purl. :)ReplyDelete
I did my faces while they were all stuffed, not the smartest I know. The ears were fiddly if I remember correctly. Still I made six of them and they are all sent out minus one that is going to be sent out this week. I think you did a great job.ReplyDelete
I'm not god at the fiddly stuff either, but your faces look just fine to me!ReplyDelete
I've have always hated embroidery! But your faces look good to me.ReplyDelete
These are wonky-they are whimsical!ReplyDelete
We just don't have time for fiddly any more-we have gotten to appreciate a quick return on our yarn!! lol
They are adorable! IMHO the embroidery is perfect and gives each one its own character.ReplyDelete
