Keeping track of all those warp colors has been interesting. I had to make myself a cheat sheet.
You only wind 3 strands of each color before you move onto the next.
Because it's an uneven number of wraps you have to tie it off at both ends and I am not a fan. I like to put in my rod while the warp's still on the board to avoid tangles so I had to improvise some system so I could still do that. The jury is still out on this. Who know if I can pull it off. I may be buying another kit in the near future if it doesn't.
Having said all that, I am actually enjoying it. It's perfect for my short attention span. I do a few colors and go do something else and then come back and do a few more. It seems to be going quickly. Perfect.
This is some poject! I also have it in my wish list. All depends now on your success in weaving these towels.ReplyDelete
Love your rod-on-the-board idea!
I can't wait to see this one finished. Love the color lineup. It looks like a pretty tedious job getting it all set up to weave.ReplyDelete
What fun colors! You are doing a great job keeping it all organized!ReplyDelete
I love your cheat sheet. Whatever it takes to keep it all straight. I would have to do it in a room with a closing door or Mr Fezzik would totally enjoy the tangle.ReplyDelete
It's going to be so cool when its done.ReplyDelete
All those colors!!!!! So pretty!ReplyDelete
Well done! It looks fantastic so far.ReplyDelete
I like these colors and I like how you have all these different methods for tracking statuses of your different crafts. Some have been really helpful to me personally!ReplyDelete
