Wooly Bully

I had to card some more Jacob because I found the Crepidula vest that is in need of more handspun.

Now that the weather is cold I want to wear this crazy thing but it is missing a few important inches and that ball of yarn is mighty small.

I do love knitting with this yarn. The random colors that I card into the white and brown are beautiful.

 Jacob takes dye very nicely.

I went looking for the vest to work on because I am FINISHED with son's cardi.

It is blocking all over the house but this tale is far from over. Next I have the finishing adventure which includes grafting. Ick. As if mattress stitch wasn't bad enough.

  1. I love the vest handspun. The blend of colors is terrific. I have a pair of fair isle leg warmers waiting to be finished. Wish I was more comfortable with the seaming.

  2. The vest is working up beautifully-won't you miss having it to work on?! The cardigan-finishing isn't as much fun as knitting but it is still 'finishing' and that is great!

  4. Your knittings are so beautiful. And you can make them from fleece to garment - this is amazing!

  8. Good luck with the finishing! I think that's the toughest part. It's going to be an awesome sweater and well worth the effort! Love that vest. Amazing how the weather affects our activities, isn't it?
