Wednesday WIPs
One of the Big Gray Blobs has pockets-or at least the start of some pockets. I've never done pockets so this should be an adventure. The other Gray Blob has more inches on it this week but pretty much looks the same.
All the increases are done on the second Riddari sleeve. As you can see the second one got wider faster than the first. For some reason I increased every 7 rows when I should have increased at 8. I was counting the rows by slipping a marker and for some dumb reason I was slipping and counting the first round as 2 until I realized what I was doing and by that time I was almost done. Since this sweater is for me to lay around in, I don't mind.
No drama here. The handspun sock had its heel turned this week and I'm getting ready to head down the foot.
And....the second Audun row is joined to the first. Now I have to go around each one and attach them on the sides to each other. I've watched the video several times on how to do this. Now I just need a quiet moment to get it started.
Auden is so pretty. I would not have noticed the difference in the sleeves if you had not pointed it out.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to have a wonderful batch of FOs in the near(ish) future! Here's hoping you get those quiet moments you need.
ReplyDeleteThe handspun sock is just gorgeous! Don't fret about the pockets - they are much easier than they seem!
ReplyDeleteYour projects are all beautiful! You certainly seem to accomplish a lot with your many projects.
ReplyDeleteNice progress for all things yarn!
ReplyDeletePockets aren't so hard. You'll be surprised! I wouldn't have noticed those sleeves if you hadn't pointed it out. :-) Auden is going to be finsihed really soon.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
