Snow Day!

The Mister and I had too much fun yesterday flying down our backyard on our sleds. That's the sweater he melted in the dryer btw. I said it was great for snow and it still is. I was just happy I could still fit into it. My snow pants-not so much.

Pup got a workout running up and down behind us. She took a few rides down but hated it.

There is only about an inch of snow out there but it's icy and slick. Great for sledding and great for walking back up the hill. When the snow is deep it's a workout getting back up it.

It was the oddest day. It snowed a bit on and off. Big fluffy flakes sometimes, Icy pellets the next. The wind was blowing the ice off the trees. By afternoon the yard looked like it was covered in glass. If this is what old Punxsutawney Phil had in mind. I'll take it. It was a great day.

  1. You look like you're having a wonderful time in all of your handknits! Poor Pup. I'll be there was naptime involved for a tired dog when you went inside. :-). I'm so glad you got some snow to play in. Now, please keep it on the East coast and don't send any here. Ha!
    Blessings,

  3. I love these pics! There is something about snow that is so invigorating to me! OH and I took turns keeping walk and driveway as cleared as possible - He doesn't enjoy it as much as I do!

  8. I wish we could do that. We have a great hill. But my back is fragile. My butt is still uncomfortable at times from breaking my tailbone in horse versus volunteer this year. But watching YOU have fun with that sweater on is the BEST
