Small World Problems

One of the problems with this isolation thing is that as your world gets smaller little things start to really get to you. My brain break has been my afternoon puzzle session but now even that's been spoiled.

There is a piece missing. I've spent four days trying every single piece over and over again with no luck. I was in a total tizzy all day over it.

I searched all day for it. It was not on my plastic floor.

I didn't vacuum it up. I searched all my aprons, my pockets, my shoes while imagining some sweaty dude at the puzzle factory having a laugh at my expense. I even had to talk myself out of going on ebay and buying the same puzzle just to get the piece.

I didn't buy another puzzle but what we did do was go to Dunkin to get some more donuts. They didn't kill us last time so I was game for another half dozen. Eating and sleeping seem to be the only two things I can handle at the moment. That's not good.

I am also really ticked at Blogger today. First it didn't want to upload my photos in the right order. I had to go back and do them one at a time. Then it wanted to turn all my text into links. I never could get any of it spaced right. I just gave up.

  1. I had that link problem with Blogger today too. The new Blogger may be the death of my blog one of these days.

I totally am with you about small things ... sometimes just one more *little* thing is enough to put me over the edge. Then EVERY little thing drives me crazy.

  2. I'm sorry about Blogger. It can be a pain and when it makes me change I think I'll be in BIG trouble.
I'm also sorry about the puzzle. That is maddening. But the donuts. That was a GREAT decision. You can never have too many donuts. Just my opinion but if I have learned anything the past few months it is that life is short and you never know what will happen tomorrow so don't deny yourself everything that's good!
    Blessings,

  6. Blogger refuses to show the right hand column on my blog. I miss having all that info at my fingertips. Sigh - my patience is getting thin.

  7. I had the same problems with Blogger-they must've had a wrinkle! I did find where to fix them but it sure takes longer to post! I hope you find that dratted puzzle piece!

  8. OH Donuts. They look so good. I'm sorry you lost the piece of the puzzle. That's maddening. You'll find it around Christmas when you are putting up the tree!
