The baby shower is a done deal.
Daughter worked herself almost to death turning her house into a winter wonderland of baby delights.
Penguins were everywhere.
Everywhere.
Daughter's posh hostessing skills would have made Martha proud. She didn't learn that from me. I'm the beer's in the cooler type.
We celebrated with a glass of bubbly. This day was a long time coming.
It took a caravan to get all the presents home to the mom to be. Her friends were very generous. Very.
What I wanted to take home were the ornaments on Daughter's tree. Since she added the two new kitties to the family she decorated her tree with soft stuffies all made of woolly things. Isn't this just the cutest?
Boy, I bet you’re glad that’s done with. How did everybody like your beautiful soaps and the invitations? It looks as though your daughter outdid herself. What a beautiful home she has. And just look at all those gifts! I think that is a cute ornament too. I always hang the unbreakable ones at the bottom of the thee just in case.
ReplyDeleteBlessings always, Betsy

ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's behind you!
Love the decoration!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so amazing! The penguins are adorable but I'm sure you won't want to see one for quite a while! That's a really sweet ornament and perfect for a house with curious kitties!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful baby shower! Everything is just so beautiful and special. Yes, that tree ornament is adorable. Maybe there will be one for you also.
