Friday night they lit up the town.
We watched from the pier.
It was a bittersweet moment because last year I had Old Doggie in the pooch pouch and we danced in the newly lit gazebo. Last year I had a doggie and a dad. This year I don't. Life changes in an instant.
It was a cold night but there was still a big crowd. I had to fight my way to the tree and the line for hot cocoa was around the block.
I love the little critters that have popped up all over the city.
If you can light it up, we've got it. We take our holiday lighting pretty seriously around here. Every inch of the town is covered. I'd hate to see the electric bill.
What are the chances of another parade happening? It sounds like a wonderful day. And yes, there are more of us that love the fire trucks. Me included. Love the sweet little Crosstitch.
ReplyDeleteBlessings always, Betsy

ReplyDeleteFestive lights are so pretty on a cold and frosty night. I love the fishing duck with the reflection - great shot.
