If you watch The Midnight Quilt Show you know what these are. They are Angela Walter's quilting rulers. The little whatchamacallit in the center is a special quilting foot you have to use with these rulers.
I've been free motioning the heck out of Daddio's wedding ring quilt with mixed results. The rulers will give me some more options when it comes to borders and straight lines. There are just some places that wiggly squiggles don't work.
I also threw a new ironing board cover in that Amazon order. The hot pink one that came with the board was blinding me. I needed something neutral and soothing while I am wrangling those tiny Jane pieces. This one should do it.

Love that ironing board cover. It’s very similar to mine. Those are interesting rulers. Very cool squiggles.

Mom's got a few of those rulers - she loves them.
ReplyDeleteLove the names of those rulers...and your new ironing board cover!
ReplyDeleteI think those squiggles look pretty neat! The quilt is so beautiful and it's going to be such a treasure when you've finished!
ReplyDeleteThe only machine quilting I do is with straight lines, so the rulers are intriguing. Looks like you're giving them a workout.
ReplyDeleteThe rulers have a learning curve so enjoy practicing with them! The new ironing board cover is pretty!
ReplyDeleteSoothing lovely ironing board cover! I have to actually THINK about where my ironing board is...I never iron!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't quilt so didn't know about those tools, but they look like a very good thing to have in your quilting toolbox.
ReplyDeleteOh, you just reminded me that I need to get a new ironing board cover, too. Have fun with your new rulers; they look interesting!
ReplyDeleteFun treats are always exciting. Daddio's quilt is looking wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSince I haven't gotten too far into quilt making I don't have a clue but someone just told me to have a quilt quilted it's like $200.00 - Wow!
