Since we've been on a mission to help Pup lose a few pounds we've been walking at the beach quite regularly in spite of the horrible weather.
Those clouds give you an idea of what it's been like here. It's been gloomy, cold and terribly windy. I am so over it.
The beach renewal is still going on. We watched the big diggers working up close the other day. Pup did not enjoy it. They were loud.
Whatever they are doing seems to be working. All that mud they dredged up has turned to stuff that is starting to look like sand. It smells a bit better too and I bet we can thank this terrible wind for that.
Pup's sweater is adorable!
ReplyDeleteWe finally had a day of sunshine for the entire day today. It was heavenly. The beach is very improved since your last pictures. They may get it done after all! :-). Good for you walking more. I need to do that too and really miss it but my back isn’t cooperating at all.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Even at that it looks great to see "soft water", we're wondering if the ice will be off the lake for the big Fishing Opener May 15th! Pup's sweater is so cute, did you make it?
ReplyDeletePup is such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely hate the smell that dredging causes - fortunately, it does go away once things are smoothed over again.
Oh, your beach is shaping up! The walks for pup will do you all good; clear your heads for the next part of the bathroom reno!
ReplyDeleteYour Pup is adorable decked out in the sweater. The beach looks a 100% better than your earlier post.
ReplyDeleteCould Pup be any cuter in that sweater?!
ReplyDeleteTerrible winds here as well and night time temps in the thirties.....it's crazy!
That puppy is so cute! Did you make the sweater? I'm with pup on loud noises; our n'bors are having their roof redone, and it's the third day of lots of banging. Have a great weekend with some GOOD weather, too.
ReplyDeleteOoops I think I lost that comment. Good luck with your sweater and the IKEA stand in your bathroom. IKEA items can be so frustrating.
ReplyDeletehang in there dear Deb. The sun is shining in Wisconsin today. There are brave buds beginning to swell on the branches. We have lots and lots of migrating birds. It is coming!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a beach to walk by!
