I've been collecting pansies all spring.
If I see one I don't have I buy it.
I had no idea they came in so many colors and sizes.
Right now my front porch pots are ablaze in color.
It won't last long.
As soon as the leaves fill in and we are in shade again the blooms will disappear.
I am going to miss all those sweet little monkey faces.

Pansies always seem like such a happy color to me. The unwritten rule here is that nothing isn’t planted until after Mother’s Day. There is just too great of a chance of a freeze.

ReplyDeletePansies are one of my favorite flowers. They always make me smile.
ReplyDeleteThey are a cheerful flower for winters here but they can't handle the full sun mine get hit with anytime now! Enjoy them for as long as you can! What a beautiful array of colors!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful! Pansies are a must have in the north because they can survive the cooler temps better than most. Enjoy them while they last :)
ReplyDeleteOmg...they do look like monkey faces! Very pretty monkey faces.
ReplyDeleteI love pansies, too. Those tiny purple and gold ones, I think, should multiply and come back for you next year. I call them Johnny Jump-ups.....
