Homecoming

My re-entry into reality was a doozy.

I got home late Tuesday night and was met by piles and piles of stuff everywhere.

The downstairs looks like it exploded.

It's been raining a lot and it seems we sprung a leak.

Right before I left, the tile in the basement was squirting out water when you stepped on it. Not good.

The under the stairs closet had flooded. The Mister had to pull out all the junk and pull off the wet wall covering. Yuck.

I might have come home to a mess but I also came  home to a very happy to see me Pup. It's not all bad.

  1. Oh no! I'm so sorry you had to come back to a mess. After the especially peaceful week with your projects that had to have been an abrupt reentry into real life. So glad pup was there to make the landing softer.

  2. Oh boy.....that doesn't look fun at all! It's been raining way to much here too. The roofers still haven't gotten around to fixing our roof from the storms a month ago. Apparently there were lots of people with damage and we just have to wait in line. I knew the pups would be thrilled to have you back. Nothing like a fur ball to make everything better.

  3. I can't stand flooding problems! Glad you had a welcome in Pup; the mess will be there waiting for you after the snuggles! Aren't you glad you had peace and quiet for a few days!?

  4. That sucks. Water in the house where it doesn't belong is always a pain. Sorry it was such a rude drop back into reality. Hopefully all under control now.

  9. Not a great homecoming but at least the Mister had done a lot of work. Hope you get it all sorted out quickly.
