Steeked!

Snip. Snip.



I finally worked up the courage to cut. This was the first time I ever used my sewing machine to reinforce the steek. I was nervous about that.



Everything seemed to work out just fine. The cardigan is a little on the small side but it is supposed to be form fitting and not baggy. I wish I had made the sleeves an inch longer. I like longer sleeves.




I have to say that picking up the first front band was a NIGHTMARE-tiny lace weight stitches with dark yarn. Argh...it was VERY slow going. It took 2 whole hours in fact and I still have to knit about 18 rows on them. I almost went blind.
The worst part is there is still another side to do. Ugh...
