My last adventure in chain plying off the wheel went rather well. This time-not so much. The singles keep breaking. When you are making a simple 2 ply that is no problemo but with chain plying it is tricky to get the singles to stick back together without making a giant ugly wad in the middle of your yarn. I spent one horrible morning trying to wrap my brain around the solution with no luck. I have spent more time cursing this yarn than plying it but I am happy to say we have now come to an understanding, this yarn and me. It seems that it just might end up in a ball instead of the trash. Maybe. Just maybe.
