Needlework

There wasn't much Easter things happening over the weekend-except maybe a lot of eating of jelly beans but there was a lot of sewing. I had to make more lattice strips for Dear Jane so I did. I've been trying to get one sewn on a day.

Dad's squares quilt had its binding sewn on. What a chore. Paper pieced edges are thick and uneven.

Sewing down all that binding has also been quite a chore. I've been tackling a bit of it a day. Two sides to go. I can't wait.

  1. Even if progress is slow, it's still getting done! I'm learning to tell myself that because I get so side-tracked from crafting since we moved in here. There is so much to do and all of it good and fun too!
    Blessings and hugs,

  2. Well, at least there were jelly beans. LOL

    (No beans here, sadly.)

  3. Oh that pieced binding is going to be so cool! I came home with two quilts to bind (and I did two while at Mom's). I better get to it or I'll have nothing to post this week

  4. You’ll soon have that colorful quilt finished! I didn’t purchase any Easter candy this year, not even the yummy, black jelly beans
