Rainbow Kitty

Rainbow Kitty is coming alive. He/she is finally getting a face.

It's come at a cost. My wrist has been rubbed raw.

Under the material the hooks on my frame can inflict some terrible damage before you know it. I've had to cover the spot I'm working on with a thick cotton dishcloth to protect my ouchie.

My nice little bundle of strips is getting mighty slim. I hope I have enough to finish.

Uh oh. I forgot to do the tail. It pays to take it off the frame and look at it from time to time. It helps to know where you're going.

  1. Your Rainbow Kitty is coming along really well. I love his sweet face. Hope you don't get anymore injuries working on him.

  3. Ah, finally seeing a face when you're working on something like that is so satisfying! I'm currently working on a Snow White counted cross stitch worked from the bottom up so she is as yet headless - very much looking forward to getting above the shoulders!

  7. Love how Rainbow Kitty is turning out! I used to do latch hook and would rub my hand/wrist raw on the canvas, but your stretcher frame looks deadly!
