In spite of all the thread and thumb drama in December, I managed to make my goal of having the border of my calendar sampler done by midnight last night.
Now the race is on to see how much of it I can get done by January 1st, 2016.
To celebrate, The Mister and I did something we never do. We had dinner and drinks in a local restaurant.
We had nachos, fajitas, margaritas and mojitos in the new Mexican place that opened on the boardwalk.
It was all very good. I haven't been that stuffed since, well....Christmas.
Afterwards we took a stroll on the boardwalk which was still all dressed up for the holidays.
Our twin beach towns really know how to do it up right. It's like living in a wonderland for a few glorious weeks of the year.
Happy New Year! The Mister and I wish you the best of 2015!
Happy New Year to you both, and may it involve less hospital trips than 2014!ReplyDelete
