Tiny Needle Tuesday

My 123 Stitch order is here. I was looking for something like a Quaker but not exactly a Quaker and I think this will work. It will at least keep me busy for quite a while.

Since I am a seasonal stitcher I had to get the Spring version as well.

And....thank you for all the kinds words yesterday. Your comments and advice were very much appreciated. It's not my story to tell but I would like to say that BIL was one of a kind. If we needed something mechanical fixed, he was the first one we called. He could make anything run. Just weeks ago he flew to Georgia to pick up his dream car, a screaming yellow Corvette. His last road trip was driving it home not knowing of the challenges to be faced ahead. Saying goodbye on Saturday is going to be a tough one.

  1. I'm waiting on a 123stitch order now. I thought it would be here last Thursday but now the USPS is saying Wednesday of this week. It's a Jane Austin cross-stitch with 32 count linen. I've NEVER worked on that small of a stitch before. It's for a gift at our Jane Austen book club and I have until September to finish it. I sure hope I can see it to stitch it. It uses one color thread. Dark. Yikes. I do like both of your kits. So pretty.
I am so sorry about your BIL. And to just get his dream car too. What is it about corvette's? Dennis would like one too. :-) I'll definitely be praying for you my friend. Life can be so hard.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  3. I am so sorry of the loss of your BIL. I can't imagine losing a sibling. It must be very difficult.

  4. Those are stunning! I was itching to do something quaker-like too - so I just bought a Hallowe'en sampler pattern that's almost all one colour. I can't wait to start it!

  6. I missed yesterday’s post. Condolences to you and your husband. It’s difficult to lose a family member. I’m glad he got to drive his Corvette.

  7. Happy for him that he got the Corvette, and a long drive to enjoy it.
