This was the view from my deck yesterday morning. We had some serious melting going on all day but at least I did get to spend a week looking out at the beautiful snowscape. The cold is coming back with a vengeance next week so maybe we'll get another white coating to fill in the bare spots that are growing bigger every day. 
My dismayed snowman is also ready for some more snow. I finished the gray sky yesterday and now need to go cut up some white strips to sit him on. I'm not sure why he's so upset. He's got plenty of snow to keep him busy unlike The Mister who got to go out and bring our car down the driveway for the first time since the storm. He was happy to finally see some asphalt yesterday. I was NOT.

We're supposed to get 6-8" of snow today and tonight and frigid temps the rest of the week. If only you were a little farther north!

ReplyDeleteWe had a brief warm up yesterday - just enough to turn all our snow nice and icy - now we are going to get more snow on top of it!

ReplyDeleteI'm like Val and love the snowman. Since it's Sunday evening when I'm finally getting online, I'm wondering if you got any of the snow that the news said DC was getting? Maybe you have white again. I did also see that the gulf of Mexico is supposed to get some snow Tuesday or Wednesday! It's crazy weather out there. Meanwhile, Alex just got to Japan and was texting me while on the Shinkensen, (bullet train), towards northern Japan. His administrative asst. sent him a photo that he forwarded to me that they're having record snowfalls over there this year! We have NO snow and I'd be happy to keep it that way.
