I really love this feature of the pegboard. No more patterns lying about. My big Dear Jane book is even in this rack.
On the soap side of the room I am in love with my new paper towel holder doo dad from Ikea. Keeping that roll off the work table gives me so much more room.
I am even happy to be back at work on Daddio's paper pieced nine patch. I worked on it last night. AT NIGHT. I know that doesn't sound like much but in this room I have LIGHT. In the living area with the high wood ceilings, where I used to have my sewing things, once it gets dark that's it. You can't see a thing. It took a lot of work to move everything around but it was worth it.
Next up, the downstairs bathroom. On the day I went to pick up the pegboard for the sewing room I just so happened to bring home some new cabinets and a shower curtain.
I need to stay out of Ikea for a while.
So happy for you. Craft space is a luxury to me. Happy crafting! Liana
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful. Love your peg board!
ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent job you have done on the craft room! Too funny that you are ready to tackle another renovation so soon!
ReplyDeleteThe pegboard looks great. I've been to IKEA twice and had the same experience that Dee mentioned. I, too, prefer the Container Store.
ReplyDeleteI am officially envious of your craft room! Well done. It's fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I love your little sewing nook. It's perfect. That pegboard makes everything look so neat. Another project already? You are a brave lady.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
hahahahah Ikea loves you and they love organization
ReplyDeleteIkea is Such a dangerous place! Love your new craft room. Love your collection of pin tomatoes even more. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your sewing nook and how you have your supplies readily available. And another renovation project in the wings - just WOW.
ReplyDeleteI have serious envy over your organized space. At my fiber group last night, there was a presentation about sewing spaces. I learned I have everything set up wrong. Oh well. We want to downsize in a year or two, so I'm not going to invest in anything -- but it wouldn't hurt to tidy up!
