I've got blue Scrubbies in the making.
And another one of those round dishcloth thingys whose name I forget.
I had a real blue thing going for a while. I even have a blue warp being wound but I can't get to where it's at to finish it at the moment because of the piles of bedroom junk everywhere. It'll keep.
I've also got socks. Lots of socks on the needles. I took an orphan bag of socks with me to Christmas and they were snatched up in a heartbeat so I decided to cast on a bunch of new socks in hopes of having another bag ready for next year.
Some are plain.
Some are fancy.
It feels good to knit something you know someone wants.
I love to work with blues in January-nice to see a little of each craft you do so well in progress!
ReplyDeleteNice projects. Your Heritage yarn looks like the one I used for socks (I think it's called Baltimore). Love the yellow and grey yarn - very, very pretty.
ReplyDeleteBlue is a prominent color in my stash, too.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of things in progress and I really like all of the blues. I love the round dish cloths too and they seem to be the most popular when I give people a choice of what shape they want. I can just imagine how fast your socks went. I have to make a conscious effort to keep a pair for myself otherwise they’re claimed before they’re off the needles! Blessings, Betsy
ReplyDeletePretty colours all around, but I love those pink socks at the end!
ReplyDeleteAs usual, everything you are working on is beautiful! Love all the blues - especially the fabrics. What a wonderful treat for your family for you to show up with a bag of hand knit socks up for grabs.
ReplyDeleteSince blue is my favorite color I can totally understand wanting to see a lot of blue during this season! I'm having a lot of difficulty kick-starting myself after the holidays - time for me to get my crafting mojo back!
ReplyDeleteGreat socks on deck. there is nothing like a dishcloth in the round
ReplyDeleteLove those blue fabrics and can't wait to see the quilt! I agree it's fun to have lots of projects in the works....now to finish some of them! You are way better at the latter than I am.
ReplyDeleteLove the socks! Someday I may take the leap to doing a fancier sock stitch :)
ReplyDeleteWow look at the starts of socks, keeping busy helps and time, but it is still hard.
