Since my knitting is not going my way I was feeling a bit at loose ends until I remembered I had Miss Chicken tucked away. Wool is wool.
She's getting her tail feathers on. Not without drama though. Those swirls are a bit tricky. I've pulled them out and redid them several times but it's mercifully easy to do.
Ever wonder what the back looked like? Cool, huh?
Love this. And I think the back looks almost as nice as the front.ReplyDelete
She is a cutie!ReplyDelete
She's looking good!!!ReplyDelete
Swirl those wools away!
I love that kind of wool embroidery (not sure that's the right word for it), and it takes all my willpower to stay away from it. I love your tail feathers!ReplyDelete
I love your chicken - so cute.ReplyDelete
The front and the back both look terrific! I find that stitching often is more relaxing than knitting and it's nice to that you can see a pattern emerge more quickly - sometimes I need that instant gratification!ReplyDelete
I love her yellow feet!!!!ReplyDelete
Super cool! I love chickens. This is such a cool project!ReplyDelete
Wool is wool oh wise one!!!ReplyDelete
That's really the back? Nice work. Love this project.ReplyDelete
