Slowing Down

Somebody needs to put the brakes on this month. October is flying by too quickly for my liking. I'm certainly not going to get my pumpkins done at this rate.

I finished the last sleeve of my Featherweight and picked up a billion stitches for the front and neck bands.

Nurmil...Nurmilin..um, whatever, my latest shawl thingy is still fun to work on when I can find the time. Don't look for a finish on it anytime soon. Maybe this time next year. I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. Scary.

  2. Love all of your makes. I want to make the featherweight for myself...but first I have to lose about 50 lbs.! Our daughter in laws Dad has a very true saying. "Life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer you get to the end, the faster it goes." True words. This year is flying by.

  3. October always seems to speed by for me.

I cannot wait to see your finished Featherweight - maybe it will inspire me to finally make one. Every year I say I'm going to ... I've even bought yarn for two of them!

  7. I agree, this year has gone way too quickly! If you figure out how to put the brakes on, please let me know. How is that Nurm.... shawl pattern; it's on my list, too, but I'm not even close to starting it.

  8. This year is going SUPER fast. Though honestly, it hasn't been the best one for me, so I'm okay with that! I am running out of time to get my baby projects done though!
