What's Wrong With This Picture?

I've been forcing myself to work on this every Sunday. If I don't, it won't get done. It's not that I don't like cross stitching, I do, but it's not something you can start and stop like knitting or spinning or even weaving. I need a large chunk of quiet time and I don't seem to have that these days for one reason or another.

Having said that, look at this photo. Now look closer. Do you see anything wrong? One heart and one blue flower cross in the wrong direction. I had the frame turned sideways and didn't realize it until I was done. Can you find them? If you can, I am going to have to rip out all of last Sunday's work. If you can't, I am going to try and forget about it until I finish the whole thing. If I have those colors left over, I may go ahead and fix them-with the emphasis on may.

That is Daughter's wedding sampler that I have been working on since she became engaged in 2010 and yes, I know she got married in 2011. I thought I would have it done by her first anniversary but that didn't happen either. The truth is that I don't think I want to finish it because it's the last remaining project of that wonderful year when everything was all about The Wedding.

Since that time, she has been so much more than a bride.

In fact, in her 30 (!) years she has done more than I could imagine doing in a life time.

I can only imagine what the next 30 years will be like.
Happy 30th birthday, Pete!
Love,
Mum

  2. Do you mean the individual stitches are crossed backwards of the rest of the piece? If so, leave it. No one will notice.
