Virtual Field Trip

Daughter just shared with me the photos she took of the yarn shop in New Orleans where she found the skein of Calligraphy I am using to make her mittens.

If this isn't a playground for fiber addicts, I don't know what is. And just look at all that ribbon for packing up your precious goodies. The bag Daughter brought home was filled with tissue paper petals and wrapped up with lots of curly ribbon. It was a work of art in itself.

The shop is called The Quarter Stitch. It is on Chartres Street and their Facebook page is here.

Note to Sandy: Go look at the picture of their shop dog on their Facebook page. Remind you of anyone?

  1. What a dream place. Love the hanging ribbons. I would spend a whole day in there!

  2. I have never been to n'oleans. What a store. I love all the ribbons hanging down

  3. Oh my. Lots of tempting goodies there. Fun!

  4. Oh that looks likes a store I could get into trouble in!

  5. Wow! It's even cool looking on the outside before you even walk through the door!!!
