This year's Tour de France starts the day after the 4th of July in Yorkshire, England.
It's not too early to get started on the prep work.
Every morning I've been sorting through Winston and washing a handful of his pretty gray/brown locks. There's going to be a lot of....
...dunking....
...scrubbing...
...swishing....
...and rinsing around here for a while.

You do such tiny amounts at a time. Not knowing anything about this process is that to keep it from tangles or just easier to manage?
ReplyDeleteYou are right on both counts. I wrote a whole post about it for tomorrow!
DeleteVery nice-what breed is Winston? I have to decide what I am going to spin first-roving or some more of the alpaca fleece...
ReplyDeletesuch a laborious process. YOu inspire me!! Someday…spinning someday rabbit raising/
ReplyDeleteOkay, so now I know why spinning will never work for me. This prep and cleaning thing is so ridiculously far out of my league. I couldn't handle it. nope. never.
ReplyDeleteEwe dirty girl, ewe!
