Fifty Eight Thousand

When I asked Middle Sister how old she was going to be today, she said "58,000". After what we've all been through with the old man since Mom died twelve years ago, I understood exactly what she meant. It's been rough and it's only getting rougher. There was a time when the three of us didn't have a care in the world. On this warm sunny day, many years ago, we could have never imagined what the future had in store.

There's not much you can do when fate deals you a crappy hand but it is nice to know you always have someone to share it with. Misery loves company and isn't that what sisters are for?

  3. You are very lucky to have such great sisters - and Daddio is very lucky to have the three of you. Not many families are so caring and work together so well.

  4. You are so lucky to have one another through the tough years with your daddio. Love the pool picture! We used to have to wear caps….I hated them
