My knitting mojo has been MIA since the weather turned warm. I would rather be outside playing with fleece than inside on the couch. I have projects on the needles but they are not getting any love. The gray man socks are on the foot. Unless I am out walking with Pup in the sunshine, these socks get no attention at all. I can't see gray indoors anymore. Well, maybe I can but I don't want to.
This sock only needs to have its cord cut and its mate cast on. How lazy can I be?
Son's gray cardi #2 needs just a few more inches on the back. Then it's on to the front. This will be done by next winter for sure. Maybe.
My cabled cardi is heading to the neck. That yoke is a bottomless pit of knitting. I am so over it and I still have to pick up the front bands. Argh....
Tracery got a reprieve from further steeking when I decided to put another pattern repeat on. The pattern says to stop where my finger is but it was too short for me. I am too old for cropped. I still like working on this though so no complaints. It's the last thing I do every night. One row a day. It'll be done in 2018 for sure. Maybe.
Finally, there is the Mosaic throw that I was so excited about last month. I really have to be in the mood to tackle this big thing and warm weather does not make you want to put a blanket in your lap. I don't dare say it but I need a surprise snowfall to jump start that missing mojo. We had one last year so I'm not counting anything out.

LOL C'mon SNOW --- Araignee needs a KNITTING DAY!!!
ReplyDeleteJust make sure that you clarify that the surprise snowfall that you're wishing for is only for you! LOL! Don't be sending any of that my way!
ReplyDeleteWhen I get through with a big project (like your soap mania maybe...) I flounder for a few days, too. You will kick it into gear soon!
ReplyDeleteThose are very pretty projects waiting for you!
I cant imagine knitting plain gray socks. GOod for you! I must try to walk and knit thing. Fireman would not like that! Too many neighbors to laugh at me! I'll have to do it when I walk in the woods! I LOVE your steek project.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like yesterday you were casting on your grey cardi and now the back is almost done. I wish I have at least tenth of your knitting speed.
ReplyDeleteYour mojo and my mojo must be hanging out somewhere taking a nap in the sunshine. "This will be done by next winter for sure. Maybe." Pretty much sums out how I feel. I think it's great that if the weather is good and you're feeling the fiber you go with it. That knitting will be there when you're ready for it, though I'm glad you're still enjoying the Tracery. So pretty and it's nice to have one knit you're on good terms with :)
ReplyDeleteYou have some nice projects to choose from. I have a couple of sweaters that are so close to being finished but all I want to do right now is socks. No snow here, please.
ReplyDeleteThat Tracery is so pretty; you inspired me to get the book and there it sits. Don't know if I'd ever have the courage to steek! It's been really windy here.....
ReplyDeleteLove your fairaisle sweater! Sometimes I have to knit a quick project in a colorful yarn, or play in a different media to get the mojo back.
