Using a drop spindle, I've collected all these singles in the 10 months since last year's fest but it's still not enough to start plying. Grrr.....so I've made a big decision.
I've decided I am going to finish up the rest of the fiber in the bag on the wheel. I feel like it's cheating but I am so over this project-and the knitting has yet to begun.
Weary of anything?
Pretty colors!
ReplyDeleteYes ......so weary of the cowl I am trying to knit. I've had dropped stitches, wrong counts, etc......I can't tell you how many times I've started over. WAY TOO MANY! LOL
We've only been home a little more than a week and I'm already tired of the rain.
ReplyDeleteI have the same issue with my Wensleydale wool. Was thinking about moving to the wheel but than decided to stick to drop spindle. It is so slippery, I am afraid I will not cope with it.
ReplyDeleteYour yarn is so colourful, the shawl will be beautiful.
Oh, yes! It happens when I take on a large project like this; I guess I have short term tastes now!
ReplyDeletePretty pretty colors
ReplyDeleteWow! MDSW is comming up quickly! I'd be using the wheel too.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have the patience for spinning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stuff, though.
Um yes. Weary of March. Ands is just day 4!!!! I have to embrace it , even the freezing weather and continuing snow. I see a chickadee on the feeder so that makes me very happy!
ReplyDeleteThat's going to be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am sick of absolutely EVERYTHING I'm working on at the moment!
Love the colors of your yarn. It will make a beautiful shawl.
