Quinlan

Hopefully winter had its last gasp yesterday. We got about an inch of snow on an extremely windy and cold day.

I tried to settle my mind by picking up some mindless projects but the howling of the wind and the swaying of the trees kept getting in the way.

What I actually spent most of the day doing was staring out of the window and watching the big feathery flakes fall. I do like a nice snow event-just not in March.

  1. That wind was howling here on Thursday. I wonder if it was the same storm. We were supposed to get 7-9 inches of snow and we ended up with barely a dusting that was gone in just an hour or so.

  5. We had high winds here, too. It hit 31 but no snow! The kitty looks happy to be inside!

  6. We had snow on an off all weekend. Some of it came down before I headed to Mom's on Friday, and it made for a pretty twilight drive through the country.

  9. Saturday's snow storm sure was windy! We woke up to no power but thankfully it came back on within a few hours. And although the snow fell like it was a blizzard, it barely stuck to the ground - which was nice because we were celebrating Hayden's 2nd birthday.
