Duck, Duck, Goose

Well, look at that. I managed to get some stitching done this week. It's not much but I did get two baby geese filled in yesterday afternoon. There's one more to go.

I switched out my winter project for this one. I didn't actually put a single stitch on it because........

...I decided to give this one a few minutes instead. I added a small snowflake thing to see if I could still work on a Christmas Quaker in the summer. It was close to 80 yesterday and ridiculously windy. Winter or summer I think I can still work on this one from time to time so it will stay in rotation-for now.

And......I had made one of these handy little needle books for this project a while back and it was the first time getting it out and using it. One of you gifted me some and I love them. Now I want one for every project. Coordinated, of course.

  1. Oh I like that needlebook (I just keep my needle in the fabric (usually outer edges, but not always). Your stitching is so pretty and I'm enjoying all of your projects.

  4. I think all of those projects are beautiful and that needle book is a great idea. I finally got myself a needlekeeper a few weeks ago and I really like it.

  5. I am amazed that you can jump between so many cross stitch projects. I find them quite difficult to move around in.

  6. Ooh! I LOVE the needle booklet! Love the cross stitches too. That last one specially. Looks like a star to me rather than a snowflake. Easily a summer project! :)
