Funky Town

My crafting table had a pile of packages waiting to be opened on it.

A week or so ago I had gotten all excited about some YouTube videos on art journals. There was some printmaking involved using these gel plates that looked fun.

I also saw folks slathering goo all over the pages with these knives using stencils. Who doesn't like to slather goo?

I not only needed to order the printing things and the knives and the goo, I needed the journal and the paper. Voila....that tube is filled with very thin parchment paper sheets that you glue down in your journal. Or something like that. I'll have to watch those videos again and take notes this time.

I also had a package from my favorite stamp shop, Lawn Fawn.

I found an alpaca stamp that was a must have. They sent me the paper and the little merci stamp as a freebie. I love small companies that do that sort of thing.

Speaking of cleaning up the craft desk, I'd also forgotten about all the February soap that needs to be tested and wrapped. I really need to crawl out of this funk. I've got work to do.

  7. It is okay to be in a funk. Grief takes all forms. You've had so much to deal with emotionally. Be nice to you. your cards are always wonderful.

  8. Out of all of your new goodies, I think I like that little alpaca stamp the best. I've always wanted to have an alpaca but I don' think it's going to happen, so I enjoy pictures of them and now your stamp too. The yarn is so soft to knit with.
I'm looking forward to the cards you make with it. And your soap is beautiful! The colors are so pretty.
I'm praying for you my friend.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
