On Sunday we ran errands so we could get back to tiling on Monday. I did manage to get some of Dear Jane pieced in between doing things that were not much fun.
Those tiny triangles were no fun. I hope I've seen the last of them but I bet I haven't.
I got up really early on Saturday so I could get Daddio's quilt sandwiched but that's as far as it went. There was no machine time this weekend. Maybe next. Isn't it Superbowl Sunday? I sure hope so.
And....thanks to everyone who responded to my latest soap adoption event. There is still plenty left so hop on over to Ravelry if you haven't already!
Next Sunday you should have plenty of "you" time. The SuperBowl stuff starts mighty early and it goes all day and well into the night.
ReplyDeleteOur team is in it ---- so I'll be watching (with a little bit of easy knitting on the side).
The work on the bathroom will soon come to a close....hang in there.
ReplyDeleteThe Dear Jane quilt is looking impressive!
Nice to get close to the work on your dad's quilt!
Those finished tiles in the background look really nice. Hopefully you won't have to burn through to many more drills though. I'm in awe that you guys are tackling this job yourselves. Can't wait to see the finish.
ReplyDeleteYikes, tiny pieces intimidate me! You're very brave to tackle them.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was strange when I read the first sentence of "I miss football." because I didn't think you were a huge fan, but now I understand perfectly. I adore my husband, but when he retires I'm going to lose so much crafting time because he is go, go, go. All of the time.
ReplyDeleteLove that quilt, but those tiny, tiny squares.
Blessings,
Betsy
We have been meaning to tile the kitchen backsplash for a decade -- and I am not exaggerating! Maybe your project when inspire us to get going.
ReplyDeleteNext week is the super SNACK bowl. I don't know what we are going to eat yet. I would like it to be nibbly and delicious. Those tiny squares are the reason why I didn't think I'd ever try to quilt. hehe. Good luck with all the tiling and crafting. xoxo
