Since the snowflake pieced mini quilt/table runner project is almost finished I thought it was time to get started on the Dear Jane project.
It took me a while to sort it all out.
You get several blocks worth of paper pieces in one package.
Now I have to figure out an over all plan using the material I have along with a plan for the blocks and the sashing. Good times. I really like paper piecing.
The snowflake runner is beautiful. I just keep going back to the picture of all of the paper pieces and think I would go crazy trying to sew all of those. You have my utmost admiration. It will be fun to see what fabrics you choose. Blessings, Betsy
I know nothing about paper piecing but that fabric is gorgeous. It screems Spring! I think this one's going to become another beauty.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a TON of pieces. Would probably drive me batty - lol
ReplyDeletePaper piecing is something I do not enjoy, but I love seeing the work of others. I'll eagerly follow your progress on this project.
ReplyDeleteYour mini quilt and runner are wonderful. What width of binding do you use on these small items?
I cut 1 1/2 inch strips. I like a lot on the back side to work with to cover up the seams.
DeleteLooks like Dear Jane will be a good stash buster too.
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
