Between the holidays, the flu and now the loss of Daddio my bathroom remodel has been on the far back burner.
The Mister got a bee in his bonnet yesterday and tackled that mess on the back wall where the stud was twisted. At the same time I was shoveling out my mess of a house. I haven't lifted a finger since last week and it showed. It felt good to get some work done around here for a change.
My new toilet is still holding court in the middle of my living room though. It's where I've been keeping my stitching projects. For Pete's sake.
The rest of the house is dotted with piles of all the stuff that should be in the bathroom and hopefully will be someday. By Easter for sure. I'm hosting.

I love this. I think I it’s called, “keeping it real!”

Bless you. . .remodels are always stressful, but it ooks like you're rolling with the punches.
ReplyDeleteThat toilet in the living rooms cracks me up. I'd be going batty, but it looks like you are handling it well. And, you do have incentive for having it done in time to host Easter.
ReplyDeleteWell you have a good attitude and that's half the battle with remodels. Heck....it just might be all of the battle. LOL
ReplyDeleteEaster...good goal. You've had a lot going on. Dont' be hard on yourself. Hmm and a toilet as a stitching holder organizer...you are so unique!
ReplyDeleteNothing like entertaining to get things in gear!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm just glad you're feeling better. The sickness around is abound! It's not pretty and people are relapsing. Take care of you.
ReplyDeleteI love that you are keeping your stitching on top of the commode. LOL.
You guys will get it done. Then you can reclaim more hobby time!
Oh, for my whole married life my guy gets gung-ho for the beginning of a project and then after two weeks it languishes for years unless I do it. Hoping he takes a big step forward on this project for you.
ReplyDeleteYou are getting there! Did you know that Easter is on April First this year? Really!
ReplyDeleteYou'll get there!
ReplyDeleteI bet it felt good to get things done. I know you are taking the loss of your Dad very hard, my thoughts are with you.
