I was trying to come up with a post about being thankful and was coming up blank. Not that I don't have a lot to be thankful for, I just couldn't get a fresh angle on it. Then I looked around and noticed that what I really have to be thankful for is YOU.
My house is filled with reminders of how nice you are.
I've got lots of projects bags from you. You know me so well. I am a complete projectbag-aholic. You can never have enough.
You've sent me fiber to work with. That's a gift that keeps on giving.
There are socks that are only socks because of you.
That new towel is all of your making.
So is a lot of my stash.
I always marvel at your creativity.
And your generosity.
You have inspired me to learn new things.
You help me keep my place and find my way.
The very needles I work with are from you as are some of the patterns I work from.
You've provided my morning...and evening cuppas along with some amazing treats now long gone.
It seems you are in every nook and cranny of my very existence. I couldn't throw a rock in here without hitting something you have sent me.
I look forward to sharing the holidays ahead with you and .....if I haven't paid you a visit recently give me a nudge. Blogger keeps hiding my blog roll and I don't want to miss a thing!
During this year you were my every morning companion and inspiration for a lot of crafty things. Thank you!ReplyDelete
Happy Thanksgiving! Like Liana, I read several blogs with my first cup of the day. Rather like checking in on how my "friends" are doing today. It's like the old saying, " you pick your friends, not your," oops, I won't say it on Thanksgiving day. I am wishing you and all your readers a happy day .ReplyDelete
Deb, I love seeing your LIFE unfold. Sharing blogs is the BEST!!!!ReplyDelete
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!ReplyDelete
I turn to your blog every morning-usually for a good chuckle, a smile and sometimes a sigh but it's always a good visit! Who says blog friends aren't real friends!?ReplyDelete
Happy Thanksgiving, Deborah!ReplyDelete
Oh those Christmas balls. I used to make those and had dozens. I have no idea what has happened to them.
There will be no tree for us this year, so all of you out in blogland need to be my tree people!!!
Yep...enjoy your blog and your doings so much. Thank you for sharing your world. Hoping your Thanksgiving was a wonderful one.ReplyDelete
You were my very first blog read and my inspiration to start one for myself. I try to never miss your posts. Love watching all you do and am constantly amazed at the amount you do.ReplyDelete
I feel the same way. I look around at the cards, little items that have been made for me, lovely soap and yarn, it makes bloggers the best friends ever!ReplyDelete
