I've been up all night sitting and knitting but I'm not on the train to Rhinebeck. Not this year.
Instead of frolicking in the autumn splendor with all the other fiber fanatics, I'm in a all too familiar setting once again.
Yep. You guessed it. This time he has pneumonia. That pack a day habit is finally catching up with the old man and it ain't pretty. If you are heading out to Rhinebeck this morning, have a half sour pickle and a cider doughnut for me. Sniff, sniff....
I'm sorry; for you to miss a fiber trip and for your Dad....his internal clock is set for every fiber festival! Pneumonia isn't easy, I hope the meds kick in soon.ReplyDelete

Oh dear, I'm so sorry this happened to both of you. I hope your dad is better soon. I've also made many trips to the ER with my mom. Knitting keeps me sane. Glad you had a sock to keep you busy.ReplyDelete
