All Wound Up

 My plying experiment is dry and ready for swatching.

After my sweater disaster, I take my swatching seriously.

 Before washing, my sample is 4 by 3 inches.

 After washing it grew in length but not width.

After drying it snapped back into shape. That's a good thing, right?

 As for the naughty Merino, it got swatched and washed again.

This is the gauge I ended up with so I'm hoping that what I spin during the Tour will  match. Who wants to bet it doesn't?
