I have spun a lot of wool in the past few years, but never enough to do anything big with. I spent the whole summer dedicated to one giant mound of roving that I am very happy to say will one day be a sweatery shrug type thing. I know that I have 600 yards of this beautifully colored but horribly itchy handspun thanks to my new little yarn meter gadget. I am knitting a seamless pattern from the top down so I can see just how much I am using because I want to squeeze out as much length in the body as I can. Sleeves, I am not worried about. I want a loose short sleeved cardi to pull overtop of something thick so the itch can't get me.
