Resolution

I'm not one for making promises to myself I can't keep but I am really tired of this project staring me in the face. It's been two years.

Honestly, I don't love the hooky thing. I like the way it looks but I hate doing it.

My goal is the finish this bin of colors before it's too warm to make use of the blanket. I've got eleven more double rows to go. Two colors a week is my modest goal. On you mark, get set......go.

  1. You can do it! The blanket is so beautiful. Crochet is my first love...it was around in my life about 40 years before knitting was even thought of. It's so relaxing to me. Ihere cheering you on my friend.

  2. You can do this! It is a beautiful project and there was no pressure to have it done by any certain date so you can sit back and enjoy the work! The yarn balls are getting flimsy and that shows progress!!!

  3. It's so pretty and colorful. I first learned to crochet way back when so one could say it was my first love but knitting seams to have taken over now. I do still get on crochet streaks though. I especialy love my big pink chunky monkey crochet hook.

  4. Your blanket is so beautiful...not that much further to go. I did crochet a blanket once...it became such a chore, so I know what you mean. Love all the colors you have to work with - really cheerful.

  5. Go Go go!! You can conquer it. Something drew you to it to begin with right? Get it done. Drink while you hook if you must, but finish. YOU will feel amazing !

  7. That is going to be a really lovely blanket! Just work on it as and when you want - not having a timeline can sometimes lead me into the land of procrastination but I think those colors and patterns would keep me going!
